Jennifer E. Hugg, PhD Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Hi there! My name is Jennifer and I'm a clinical psychologist practicing in Boston, MA. I am originally from Des Moines, IA and first moved to Massachusetts for my undergraduate studies at Amherst College, where I majored in psychology and anthropology. After Amherst, I worked as a counselor at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA for a couple of years before heading up to the University of Maine for my PhD in Clinical Psychology, a program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).

I completed my Predoctoral Internship with the Central Western Massachusetts VA Healthcare System, Integrated Outpatient Behavioral Health track, in Worcester, MA, which is an APA-accredited internship. I was thrilled to be able to return to Boston and call it home during my Postdoctoral Fellowship with the Boston Child Study Center, in Boston, MA.

When I'm not practicing psychology, you can usually find me knitting, cooking, looking for ramen and wood-fired pizza, or window shopping for furniture I definitely do not have the space for.
